At present, the company has built a project for lead nitrate which the annual production of lead nitrate is 5000 tons, the total investment for this project is 60 million RMB. This project of lead nitrate were separted two phases to finish. For the first phase, we invested 35 million RMB,the annual production of lead nitrate is 2000 tons, there are 82 employees; we invested 25 million for the second phase, which the annual production of lead nitrate is 3000 tons, meantime, the number of employees has been reached to 162; now this project has completely finished.

Heat the lead grain,then dissolved in nitric acid(analusis); then cooling, the small crystalline powder set out through cooling;then with nitric acid to washing decantation method 2-3 times, filter the crude products. Soluble in water under heating,hot filtering. Add nitric acide in the filtrate (pure).Cooling,suction out crystallization,drying, get the pure lead nitrate.
Polyimide(PI) prepared by self as matrix and lead nitrate as additives, PI/lead nitrate radiation shielding material was prepared. The radiation shielding property of the material was tested and analyzed especially by HPGE coaxial detector system and the influence of content of lead nitrate on the radiation shielding property was studied. The thermal property and radiation resistance of the material were also investigated. The results indicated that the radiation shielding material had better radiation resistance and radiation shielding property and could be widely used in various fields.
