Property And Preparation Of Lead Nitrate Based Radiation Shielding Material

Abstract： 

Polyimide(PI) prepared by self as matrix and lead nitrate as additives, PI/lead nitrate radiation shielding material was prepared. The radiation shielding property of the material was tested and analyzed especially by HPGE coaxial detector system and the influence of content of lead nitrate on the radiation shielding property was studied. The thermal property and radiation resistance of the material were also investigated. The results indicated that the radiation shielding material had better radiation resistance and radiation shielding property and could be widely used in various fields.
